Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information yrdgo collects, how it is used, what becomes public when a listing is published, and what choices users have.

Last updated March 22, 2026

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to provide, information needed to operate the marketplace, and limited technical information about how the site is used.

  • Account information, such as your email address and profile details.
  • Listing information, such as titles, descriptions, photos, tags, sale dates, and location details.
  • Saved listing activity, seller contact interactions, reports, and other marketplace actions tied to your account.
  • Technical data such as browser type, approximate device information, log data, and preferences needed to keep the site working.

How we use information

  • To create, publish, display, and manage yard sale listings.
  • To support sign-in, saved listings, seller pages, analytics, and core marketplace features.
  • To moderate content, investigate abuse, prevent fraud, and enforce site rules.
  • To improve search, maps, listing quality, overall site performance, and understand aggregate site usage.

What is public

When a seller publishes a listing, the listing content is intended to be publicly visible. That may include the listing title, description, photos, sale dates, general seller identity formatting, tags, and the sale address or map location shown on the listing page.

Saved listings, account settings, and internal moderation/reporting data are not displayed publicly by default.

How we share information

We do not treat personal information as public unless it is part of a listing or seller profile that you choose to publish. We may share information in the following situations:

  • With service providers or infrastructure vendors that help us host, secure, and operate yrdgo.
  • When a published listing or seller page is publicly viewable or shared by users.
  • When required to comply with law, legal process, or a valid governmental request.
  • When necessary to investigate fraud, abuse, spam, or safety issues affecting the marketplace.

Cookies and similar storage

yrdgo uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, support security, and maintain core marketplace functionality. For more detail, see the Cookies page.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as it is reasonably needed to operate the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce site rules, and meet legal obligations. Public listing content may remain available after a sale ends unless it is removed or archived.

Your choices

  • You can edit or remove listing information from your account, subject to any legal or operational retention needs.
  • You can manage certain browser-level cookie controls directly in your browser settings.
  • You can request account-related help or privacy-related review by emailing yrdgoapp@gmail.com.

Privacy-related questions can be sent to yrdgoapp@gmail.com.

Children

yrdgo is not intended for young children. If we learn that personal information was collected from a child in a way that violates applicable law, we may remove that information and restrict the related account.

Policy changes

We may update this policy as the marketplace changes. If we make material updates, we may revise the date on this page and take additional steps when appropriate.
